Job summary

Atterro in Carson, CA is hiring a Transportation Gate Clerk to support gate operations and communicate with drivers. The role offers a pay rate of $19.75 per hour with overtime after 8 hours and double time after 12, plus a Monday–Sunday schedule with two days off weekly.

You will use handheld scanners and tablets, maintain a safe yard environment, and provide professional customer service to drivers while following safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 23+ years old and have good attendance.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Experience with handheld scanners/tablets preferred.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety-oriented and reliable.
• Able to speak with outside drivers (English; Spanish a plus).
• Able to work well with others.
• Weekend availability.
• Positive attitude.
