Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring a Transportation Manager to lead and optimize transportation operations across private fleet and third-party networks. The role ensures safe, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods while delivering high service levels to customers and internal stakeholders.

The position is onsite at Egg Harbor City, NJ or Morristown, TN, reporting to the logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily transportation activities for company-owned fleet and third-party providers.
• Manage dispatch for efficient route planning, load optimization, and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor performance, capacity utilization, and service levels across modes and carriers.
• Develop strategies supporting business growth, customer requirements, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate between warehouse, customer service, planning, and transportation teams.
