Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring a Transportation Manager to lead and optimize transportation operations for our private fleet and carrier network at the Egg Harbor City, NJ site. The role ensures safe, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high service levels for customers and internal stakeholders.

The position requires directing fleet operations, dispatch, carrier relations, planning, driver performance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain.
• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, fleet management, or dispatch operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing transportation teams.
• Experience with private fleet operations and third-party transportation providers.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily transportation activities for company-owned fleets and third-party providers.
• Manage dispatch for efficient route planning, load optimization, and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor transportation performance, capacity utilization, and service levels across all modes and carriers.
• Develop transportation strategies that support business growth, customer requirements, and cost objectives.
• Ensure seamless coordination between warehouse, customer service, planning, and transportation teams.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, utilization, and asset lifecycle planning.
