Job summary

Amazon Freight Finance is seeking a Finance Manager to lead margin analysis, cost dives, and cross-functional partnering across Sales, Pricing, and Costing. The role emphasizes financial modeling, data mining, and clear communication to influence key transportation decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or MBA with 5+ years of finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own shipper level margin analysis and partner with Sales, Pricing and other teams to address margin issues.
• Perform the cost dive in partnership with Cost Planning and Execution and present weekly, monthly and YTD performance with leadership commentary.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on cost allocation and its methodology to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools.
• Collaborate with FP&A and partner finance teams to ensure integration of the AF plan into Worldwide Operations.
• Improve controls to address financial risk and support frugality; resolve data integrity issues.
• Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs and make judgements in ambiguity.
• Communicate data clearly to various audiences; tailor style to drive critical business decisions.
• Have backbone, disagree and commit to foster constructive dialogues and drive decisions.
