Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Transportation Services, focusing on financial reporting and analytics for the transportation space including cost analysis and process improvement. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns to support business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Deliver weekly/monthly close and produce dashboards, plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of controllership processes.
• Support financial reporting and operating planning with finance acumen.
• Prepare concise documents for stakeholders and collaborate with operations’ leaders.
• Communicate data clearly to diverse audiences and tailor style as needed.
• Analyze quantitative data to develop reports that drive cost reductions.
• Participate in hiring, mentoring peers, and leveraging diverse perspectives.
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects and improve finance tools.
