Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, Public Administration, Engineering, or closely related field
  • At least 5 years environmental experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; strong written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity with NEPA, HEPA, and regulatory reviews
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and prepare clear technical documents
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental analyses and prepare documentation to support project delivery and compliance
  • Coordinate environmental reviews, permitting, and agency consultations with federal, state, and local authorities
  • Collect and evaluate project-related information through research, site investigations, and land use analyses
  • Prepare environmental documents under HEPA and NEPA
  • Develop and review studies, permit applications, and planning reports
  • Coordinate with agencies and technical specialists for Section 106 and Endangered Species Act consultations
  • Support public meetings, community outreach, and hearings
  • Assist clients with permit strategy, coordination, acquisition, and compliance
  • Perform GIS-based analyses and environmental constraint assessments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
