Job summary

LJB Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, invites motivated civil engineering students to join our Transportation Practice as a co-op. You will work on assignments related to the area of engineering discipline focus, performing routine tasks under close supervision and gaining exposure to design processes, as well as office and field procedures. Education: civil engineering major preferred; juniors and seniors encouraged to apply.

U.S. citizenship required. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Civil engineering major at an accredited university is preferred.
• Civil Engineering Technology or other Engineering Majors desiring a civil engineering career path will be considered.
• Students entering their Junior or Senior years are preferred.

Pay: $18+ an hour

TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focus

TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

• Education: Civil engineering major at an accredited university is preferred. Civil Engineering Technology or other Engineering Majors desiring a civil engineering career path will be considered. Students entering their Junior or Senior years are preferred

Qualifications:

• Some travel may be required
• U.S. citizenship required
• Physical: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to travel to various project sites
• Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
