Transportation Engineering Project Manager

STV Inc. is seeking a Transportation Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing a backlog of infrastructure projects for clients including VDOT, DDOT, and other municipal, institutional, and private sector clients.

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Coordinate design development, manage project timelines and scope
• Lead design teams to deliver quality results on schedule and within budget
• Assist in developing specifications, cost estimates, reports, and bid packages
• Participate in meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and project teams
• Build relationships with client technical staff and project managers
• Mentor highway design staff

Design Responsibilities:

• Provide professional transportation design services for projects with VDOT, DDOT, and others
• Develop design plans including roadway geometry, cross sections, staging, and MOT; experience in drainage, utilities, or signing & pavement marking is a plus
• Develop design exceptions and deviations
• Assist in preparing technical and cost proposals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with VDOT and/or municipal clients (required)
• At least 12 years in highway and roadway projects
• Proficiency with MicroStation Geopak and Corridor modeling
• Experience with Open Roads Designer (preferred)
• Knowledge of AASHTO design standards

Compensation:

$122,944.48 - $163,925.98
