Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a client-focused transportation and traffic engineering team across multiple planning, design, and construction projects.

You will collaborate with offices, develop staff, manage budgets, and strengthen client relationships to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires a PE license, 15+ years of relevant experience, and a strong track record in leadership and marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• 15+ years transportation and/or structural experience with diverse project experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with MODOT, county and local agency projects and client relationships.
• Proven leadership skills with engineering staff.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Ability to manage clients and projects effectively.
• Ability to participate in and lead marketing activities.
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with MicroStation and Geopak knowledge.

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our other offices as you grow and lead a client focused, technically excellent transportation and traffic engineering team to serve local, statewide, and nationwide clients in the support of multiple planning, design, and construction projects.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and lead projects and teams related to transportation planning and design, traffic studies, and/or construction engineering
• Develop and Mentor Staff
• Collaborate with other disciplines
• Client Relations
• New Business Development
• Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
• Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
• 15+ years transportation and / or structural experience with diverse project experience

• Experience working on and with MODOT, County and Local Agency projects and have established relationships with these clients
