Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Transportation Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Belleville, IL. You’ll work with a team of experienced transportation engineers on a variety of transportation-related projects, gaining hands-on experience in design and field settings.

You will assist in traffic analysis, plan preparation, and field observations to see solutions implemented in real construction environments, while pursuing an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree with a transportation focus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program, with a concentration in Transportation or Traffic preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Word and Excel.
• MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience desired.
• Valid Driver's License.
