Job summary

HNTB is seeking Intern Engineers in the West Florida area to support Traffic, Drainage, and Roadway projects. This internship focuses on assisting engineering teams with research, design, and drawing preparation under supervision.

Candidates should be enrolled in an accredited engineering program and have a high school diploma or GED. Relocation and housing are not provided. Locations include Bartow, Chipley, Tallahassee, and Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
