PRIME AE Group is seeking an Intern – Engineering Transportation in Lexington, KY. You will collaborate with engineers on transportation projects, supporting planning, design, and analysis to improve mobility and safety within local communities.

The internship targets students pursuing a Civil Engineering degree and offers exposure to roadways, bridges, multimodal facilities, and real project deliverables under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
• Rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student with an interest in transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with transportation plans, exhibits, reports, calculations, and construction documents.
• Support engineers with calculations, quantity estimates, data collection, and technical analyses.
• Assist with roadway, highway, traffic, bridge, multimodal, and other transportation‑related design activities.
• Conduct research and gather project data to support transportation engineering studies and reports.
