Job summary

Stantec offers an internship where students support civil and structural engineering teams on transportation projects, including highways, bridges, and airport infrastructure. You will work with experienced practitioners and clients in an open office, with opportunities to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Enrolled junior year or higher in Civil or Structural Eng or related field.
• Open-concept office environment; local travel to client sites possible.
• Strong prioritization and multi-tasking in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing contract documents and reports for civil/structural projects.
• Perform CAD drafting, check drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection.
