Job summary

MSA Professional Services in Baraboo, WI is offering a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will support mobility projects across central Wisconsin, work with experienced engineers, and gain exposure to project development, consulting practices, and field work possibilities.

Internships typically run at least 12 weeks from mid-May 2027 to mid-August 2027, with start/end dates confirmed later.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings for highway improvement projects.
• Assist with development of project plans, quantities, and specifications.
• Compile project documentation in line with DOT standards.
• Support Transportation engineering design activities.
• Assist with survey, field inspection, staking operations and related field work.
• Learn engineering consulting practices while contributing to infrastructure improvements.
