Baxter & Woodman is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Milwaukee or Waterford, WI team. You will contribute to planning and design of transportation facilities under guidance from our transportation design group.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning in plan review, CAD, traffic analysis, data collection, surveying, and construction inspection. Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year Civil Engineering degree with a transportation focus is required, with May 2027 start flexibility.

This on-the-job experience will support the firm’s transportation department with the planning and design of a variety of transportation facilities and offer the opportunity to work within a transportation design team.

Compensation

-The hourly pay for this role is $23.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
