City of Carrollton is seeking a Transportation Engineer to perform professional engineering duties in traffic engineering, signal design, timing plans, and project management. The role requires independent judgment and adherence to city standards.

The position supports development review, traffic studies, and coordination with the Traffic Advisory Committee while delivering citywide improvements under established guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Five years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within nine months.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to citizen/employee requests and questions about traffic signals and signs.
• Gather and analyze data to respond to requests and complaints.
• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to troubleshoot problems.
• Design signal plans for new signals citywide and manage timing plans.
• Review development plans for conformance with city guidelines.
• Manage projects, bids, contracts, and budgets as assigned.
