The North Dakota Department of Transportation in Bismarck seeks a Transportation Engineer I to support the Programming Division. You will gain experience in project evaluation, cost estimating, technical reporting, and presentations while collaborating with district engineers on roadway needs and improvements.
We offer flexible work options, including up to two remote days per week. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering and FE eligibility are required. Salary is $5,512 per month with benefits.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
- Eligibility to write the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
- Class D driver's license required for travel to projects.

- Conduct Scoping Studies and site visits to verify roadway characteristics.
- Develop scoping reports and cost estimates with visuals.
- Coordinate with district engineers to review issues and recommendations.
- Assist in funding management and development of the scoping process.
