Job summary

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for an entry-level Transportation Engineer in our Orlando, Jacksonville or Fernandina Beach, FL offices. This position will focus on design engineering for transportation projects for State, County, and Local Agencies.

Join a team-oriented environment and contribute to roadway, drainage, and infrastructure projects using Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Civil3D. Internship/Co-op experience and FE/EI T certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Internship or Co-op experience with municipal or highway projects preferred.
• Ability to travel within Baxter & Woodman’s service area.

Responsibilities

• Design roadways, utilities, and infrastructure using Bentley/OpenRoads Designer.
• Conduct drainage and traffic studies for municipal, county, and state projects.
• Prepare engineering plans and specs per FDOT standards.
• Assist project engineers and managers with project delivery tasks.
