Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 0–1 year experience; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.
• Strong grasp of core engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks or discipline software.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
• Understanding of timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Designers in the design and detail of engineering systems; write/edit specifications and research design options on appropriate devices, equipment, and system selections.
• Apply prescribed techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria to perform tasks; research findings and providing recommendations.
• Collect data, gather information and perform basic computations or analysis; may prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Participate in meetings and reviews to ensure code compliance; may conduct site investigations and observations.
• May interact with staff, the public, officials, and contractors; limited client-facing responsibilities.
