By joining our District 6 Burlington Section as a Transportation Engineer I in Kenton County, you'll have the opportunity to perform professional engineering work in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of highways, structures, or facilities. Manages and oversees activities of transportation engineering projects with minimal phases and limited scope of work. Reviews and approves transportation engineering documents and performs other duties as required.

Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment in this job classification. Must be licensed as a professional engineer by theKentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors OR must be licensed in another state with the ability to obtain a Professional Engineering license from the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors within the employee's initial six month probationary period. Engineering decisions recommended by individuals without a Kentucky Professional Engineering License must be approved by a KRS Chapter 322 Licensed Professional Engineer until licensure is obtained.
