Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Fort Worth, TX office seeks a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Transportation and Traffic team. This is not a remote position and you will work on transportation design, planning, ITS projects, and traffic operations for diverse clients.

Responsibilities include managing projects, mentoring staff, contributing to business development, and collaborating with jurisdictions and contractors to deliver high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design.
• PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months) is preferred and highly valued.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D/AutoCAD and traffic analysis tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks for transportation design and planning projects.
• Mentor staff and manage projects to deliver high-quality results.
• Contribute to marketing and business development efforts and client relations.
