Under the general direction of the Chief, Office of California Transportation Commission (CTC) Liaison, a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the incumbent will apply engineering and project development knowledge to work with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of the California Transportation Improvement Program System (CTIPS), and the Vote Initiation Process with Electronic Records (VIPER) databases. Responsibilities include functioning as the VIPER Liaison for the CTIPS/VIPER Project; developing, implementing, and managing system upgrades; and working with Caltrans’ IT, consultants, and teams to provide documentation, support, and technical maintenance of the databases. The candidate must be customer-service oriented and able to collaborate across various levels of staff and stakeholders.
