Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree level knowledge in civil engineering, computer science, data science, or urban planning.
• One year or less of job-related experience in travel demand modeling, data analysis, and model development.
• Familiarity with emissions and air quality modeling through education or experience.
• Experience with GIS software and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Create and manipulate emissions and air quality models with supervisor.
• Collect and analyze air quality, emissions, and meteorological data.
• Automate mathematical models through software implementation.
• Clean up data and interpret transportation and air quality data.
• Develop maps, charts, and plots from spatial data using GIS tools.
• Prepare materials and training documentation for analytical products.
• Draft presentations for review and potential public delivery.
