Qualifications

• Must have Class A commercial driver's license with Air Brake endorsement and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate prior to operating a commercial motor vehicle (FMCSA Part 391.41).
• English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business needs.
• Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass clearinghouse.
• Must be 21+ years old per DOT regulations.
• Experience in food/beverage delivery or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck on established route to deliver products to customer locations.

• Maintain neat appearance and follow company policies and directions.

Salary Range: $27.55 To $28.05 Annually

The Tier II role is for a group of Class A/Transport drivers whose primary responsibilities have a minimal degree of physical activity and customer service focus. The role primarily performs "drop and hook" deliveries. May have a minimal number of customers where more physical activities are required, as well as a higher degree of customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Drive truck over established route to deliver the product at customer locations.
• Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on trucks to conform to DOT regulations and company policy and assist with routine maintenance on trucks.
• Exhibit courteousness toward customers, work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, maintain a neat appearance, and follow established policies and direction of management.
• Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs as required by DOT.
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Must be able to operate a handheld computer.
• Must be able to operate a powered lift truck (pallet jack).

Qualifications & Experience:

• English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business necessity.

• Must have a good driving record, according to company requirements.
• Must Pass clearinghouse.

• Experience in food/beverage product delivery and customer service preferred.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:

• Must have Class A commercial driver's license with Air Brake endorsement (must also possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSA Part 391.41 prior to operating a commercial motor vehicle for the company).

Physical Demand/Working Conditions:

Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.

Must be able to routinely lift over 60 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds with a handheld hook.

Will be required to work in very hot (100°+) and very cool (less than 32°) environments throughout the year.

Will also be required to work outside most of the time, regardless of the conditions.
