PRP Management Services seeks a compassionate Transportation Driver in Newport News, VA for a split-shift, Monday–Friday schedule. You will transport individuals to and from day programs and ensure safe, reliable journeys with a focus on dignity and respect.

Applicants should have a valid license, pass a background check, and be able to work independently or with a team. First Aid/CPR training is preferred. This role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable personal transportation to and from work.
• Must reside on the Hampton Roads Peninsula.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and consistent with attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate safe driving habits and commitment to passenger safety.
• Ability to complete First Aid and CPR training.

Responsabilités

• Transport individuals from residences to day programs in the morning.
• Pick up individuals from day programs and return to residences in the afternoon.
• Operate company-provided vans following transportation safety procedures.
• Ensure individuals are treated with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable transportation experience for riders.
• Communicate schedules, transportation needs, and concerns with the team.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today! We are actively hiring a dependable, compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team and help individuals with intellectual disabilities safely travel to and from their day programs.

Transportation Driver | Monday-Friday | Part-Time | Immediate Hiring

What You'll Do:

• Transport individuals from their residences to their designated day programs in the morning
• Pick up individuals from their day programs and safely return them to their residences in the afternoon
• Operate company-provided vans while following all transportation safety procedures
• Ensure individuals are treated with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive transportation experience
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, transportation needs, and concerns
• Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance to ensure individuals get to their destinations safely and consistently
• Help individuals maintain their daily routines and access meaningful day program opportunities

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Split shift: Approximately 2-3 hours in the morning and 2-3 hours in the afternoon
• Morning shift: Transport individuals from their residences to their day programs
• Afternoon shift: Transport individuals from their day programs back to their residences
• Part-time position

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years
