Job summary

Cleveland Manor in Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate Transportation Driver (CNA) to move residents and staff to events, coordinate services with the team, and ensure safe vehicle operation.

This full-time role includes shift times 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan, and comprehensive insurance.

You must have a valid Oklahoma CNA certification, CPR, and a clean driving record; apply to join our caring team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Required valid CNA certification in Oklahoma.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle.
• Valid state license/insurance with no marks on driving record.
• Provide working email and phone number for employer communication.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events.
• Coordinates transportation services with appropriate staff members.
• Assists residents in and out of the vehicle with safety procedures.
• Operates mechanical lift as required for wheelchair-bound patients.
• Follows written and verbal instructions before leaving center with residents.
• Monitors and reports vehicle maintenance needs and ensures safe operations.
• Maintains vehicle logs and keeps destinations updated.
• Complies with health care and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Pay rates are based on experience!

Essential Functions of Transportation Driver (CNA):

• Transports residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events.
• Coordinates transportation services with appropriate staff members
• Assists residents in and out of the vehicle, using proper safety procedures
• Operates mechanical lift as required for wheelchair bound patients
• Follows written and verbal before leaving center with residents
• Obtain appropriate paperwork before leaving center with residentAssess and correct inappropriate resident appearance before leaving center
• Follow Resident’s Rights
• Follow center safety protocol
• Dress professional and represent the center in a professional manner
• Monitors and reports necessary mechanical maintenance needed to ensure safe operations of vehicle, including reporting of any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working conditions
• Maintains records such as vehicle logs and destinations are required
• Reports any issues or problem that may arise to the Transportation Coordinator and Administrator
• Complies with state, federal and all other applicable health care and safety standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
