Aspen Point Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Transportation Driver in Missouri. This full-time role supports residents with daily care and transports them to appointments using the facility van.

The CNA provides personal care, assists with meals, mobility, and activities while following nursing standards and state/federal regulations. Evening and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting residents to appointments via facility transportation van.

• Assist with lifting, positioning and transporting residents in bed/chairs/baths.
• Support meal service: serving, clearing, and documenting snacks and hydration.
• Chart progress notes reflecting care provided and residents' responses.

Position Description

Certified nursing assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering and assisting residents with daily needs, including personal care needs, preparation for activity and social programs, and routine activities in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Provides basic nursing care to residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Transporting residents to appointments via facilities transportation van.
• Provides residents’ personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Provides activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding residents as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Assists with lifting, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc., in keeping with specific resident safety needs; Assists residents in preparation for and transporting to appointments, activities and social programs
• Participate in meal service including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room; Assures that residents are positioned appropriately for meals; Assures that appropriate utensils are within reach of residents; Serves food trays and assists with feeding as indicated; Delivers and documents all a.m., p.m., and bedtime snacks and supplements; Provides hydration to all residents according to center policy.
• Charts progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the residents’ response to care.
