Arcadia Care offers a Transportation Driver role focused on safe, reliable patient transport to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and homes. You’ll provide excellent customer service while ensuring safety and comfort during trips.

The position supports varying shifts (full-time, part-time, PRN) with benefits including health/dental/vision, life insurance, and paid time off. A valid Illinois driver's license and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Driver’s License meeting DOT requirements.
• Age between 25 and 74 years per insurance rules.
• Experience as a bus or van driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to appointments and activities.
• Ensures resident safety during boarding, travel, and building entrances/exits.
• Performs vehicle upkeep, inspections, maintenance, and completes required paperwork.

Transportation Driver

Job Summary:

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:
