Transportation Driver
The Transportation Driver shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Drive truck over established route to deliver, unload and account for products of the dairy industry to customer's place of business and distribution points. Must follow all Department of Transportation regulations.
- Record transactions and prepare paperwork. Maintain proper logs and other required information.
- Listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Keep the inside of the truck clean, perform routine maintenance on the truck, and work and drive in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner.
Required Physical and Work Conditions
- Climb, crawl, and walk in upright and bent positions to facilitate lifting and moving of merchandise.
- Stack and unstack items weighing 50 pounds from a height of about seven feet to the ground and back continually.
- Drag stacks of milk weighing approximately 240 pounds during the shift.
- Work in very hot (100+°F) and very cold (<32°F) environments year-round and spend majority of time outdoors regardless of conditions.
Required Technical Skills
- Operate a tractor‑trailer.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Basic navigation skills.

- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Coachable and willing to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Basic math skills.
Education, Certifications and Experience
- Must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Minimum age 21, as per Federal D.O.T. regulations.
Preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in transportation.
- Good driving record.
