Position Overview:

As a Resident Transportation Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents by transporting them safely and comfortably to and from appointments, programs, and other destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport residents to medical appointments, hospitals, and care facilities in a timely and safe manner
• Organize and coordinate daily driving schedules based on appointment needs
• Observe and report any changes in residents' condition during transportation
• Assist with safe lifting and transferring of residents as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facility vehicle
• Ensure residents remain hydrated and comfortable during transport
• Communicate effectively with hospitals, clinics, staff, and families
• Protect residents’ dignity and personal property
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (required)
• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Ability to safely assist with resident lifting/transferring
• Professional, caring demeanor and strong attention to detail
• Team player with excellent communication and observation skills
