Job summary

Juniper Gardens Center, a member of the Alliance Health Group, is seeking a reliable Transportation Driver to help residents access medical appointments, community activities, and outings with safety and compassion.

You will coordinate appointments, transport residents, assist with boarding, maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete logs, and communicate with staff and families. Prior healthcare transport experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state driver’s license with no more than three entries (accidents, moving violations, or failures to appear).
• Safe and responsible driving record is required.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and compassionate manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Priority on resident safety and comfort at all times.
• Previous experience transporting residents or working in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm and coordinate residents’ medical appointments and transportation arrangements.
• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community events, activities, and other destinations as needed.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle while maintaining their safety and comfort.
• Ensure the facility vehicle is clean, properly equipped, and safely supplied before each trip.
• Follow all applicable transportation and facility safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, healthcare providers, and facility staff.
• Complete necessary transportation documentation and administrative paperwork.
• Assist with clerical tasks related to resident transfers and discharges.
• Report any vehicle or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in helping our residents safely and comfortably get to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings.
