Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a mid-level Transportation Drainage Engineer to join our Dallas/Fort Worth offices. You will contribute to planning, analysis, and design of transportation drainage systems, collaborating with roadway and bridge engineers across Texas and beyond.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited school is required.
Texas PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months is required or if licensed in another state.
+5 years of experience on mid- to large-scale transportation drainage projects.
Ability to coordinate drainage design with multi‑discipline teams.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed enclosed storm drainage analysis and design for urban and rural transportation projects.
Conduct drainage analysis and design per project and agency requirements.
Prepare project drainage/hydraulic reports and technical memoranda.
Provide hydraulic impact analysis for cross drainage structures and integrate results with other disciplines.
Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
