Job summary

Champaign Unit 4 Schools is seeking a Dispatcher/Router and Secretary for an 8-hour day, 11-month position in the O&M - Transportation department. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, typing 35 WPM, CBST 35/40, and CLIK Highly Proficient, plus strong customer service.

Preferred: experience with bus routing software and radio dispatch equipment. Split shift 5:30 am–9:30 am and 1:00 pm–5:00 pm. Compensation per the district contract, with IMRF and health insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or compensating experience.
• Typing score of at least 35 Adjusted WPM on the Typing Test.
• A CBST basic skills test score of at least 35/40.
• A CLIK proficiency level of Highly Proficient.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with terminal operations (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment (preferred).
• Experience with bus routing software (preferred).
