Job summary

RTS - Regional Transit Service is seeking a Genesee Transportation Specialist to provide administrative support at the Genesee region. Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling riders, dispatching Bus Operators, and preparing financial and performance reports.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of office experience, and strong computer and communication skills. Hours are Monday–Friday, with a 21.25 USD hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of office experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from customers, account holders, and employees on a multi-line phone system.
• Explain service options, fares, pickup and drop-off locations, and address concerns.
• Schedule rides (Dial-A-Rides, Medicaid) and prepare operator schedules.
• Serve as dispatcher and assist operators with service delivery as needed.
• Maintain records, reconcile schedules, fares, deposits, and prepare reports.
