USI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to manage the Transportation Design Department. The qualified applicant will provide road design engineering experience and will be an organized individual. We expect the applicant to be a competent engineer who is ready for the next step in their career. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a department of 15 engineers, project managers and designers
• Responsible for transportation and geometric roadway design, plan development, public presentation, specification writing, drainage calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimating, utility coordination, permitting, and technical report writing
• Work within a team environment to develop and design Road projects for state and local clients.
• Efficiently and clearly communicate project status items to the Road Design Team and clients.
• Assist in the recruitment of new talent and contribute to a positive company culture.
• Manage quality of the design team

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BSCE) in Civil Engineering
• Indiana Professional Engineer Licensure or will be eligible to obtain
• Working knowledge of INDOT Design Manual standards, specifications, and procedures
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Have working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
• Basic experience in programming, macros, or task automation
• Strong sense of organization
