Job summary

BESSEMER CITY SCHOOLS is seeking a Bus Aide to support safe student transportation and assist in loading, unloading, and conduct on the bus. • Collects and turns over to the school secretary those personal items left on bus by students.
• Checks bus after each load to be certain that no students remain on the bus.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB GOAL

To assist in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.
