Job summary

URBN is seeking a Transportation Analyst to ensure POs comply with Transportation procedures and to provide clear visibility into shipment status. You will drive data quality, freight estimate accuracy, and process improvements across forwarders and internal teams.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, data storytelling, and collaboration with Brands, Sourcing, Finance, and Technology to deliver actionable recommendations and repeatable workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years in an analyst role, preferably within supply chain, logistics, transportation, or retail.
• Strong problem solving and data-driven decision making.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Review POs for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance using automated checks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delivery discrepancies and root causes.
• Monitor shipment milestones from forwarders and fix data gaps at the source.
• Improve freight estimate accuracy by analyzing variances and driving fixes with leadership.
• Design and maintain automated data quality checks and dashboards.
• Define KPIs and data definitions to measure performance over time.
