Opportunity to participate in LADAC supervision while training in Rescue administration

Position Summary

The Transportation Coordinator & Rescue Admin in Training supports the day-to-day transportation needs of Rescue and Restore participants while receiving structured, hands-on training in Rescue administration. The position works with the Lead Rescue and Transportation Coordinator, and is designed to build competency in transportation coordination, participant support, Rescue documentation, placement communication, and administrative workflow.

This role requires compassion, sound judgment, confidentiality, strong boundaries, and consistent documentation. Because transportation time often creates opportunities for members to share concerns or important updates, the employee is expected to listen respectfully, maintain professional boundaries, document relevant information, and promptly communicate concerns through the appropriate Rescue leadership channels.

As part of professional development, the employee will have the opportunity to participate in LADAC supervision, as appropriate and subject to NAHT supervision requirements, supervisor eligibility, and applicable credentialing standards.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Transportation Coordination
  • Coordinate and provide safe, timely transportation for Rescue and Restore participants as assigned.
  • Transport participants to approved locations, including Sweet Daisy, detox/treatment, sober living, grocery stores/Walmart, court dates, probation or parole meetings, recovery meetings, DMV/court clerk visits, medical or therapy appointments, Bible study, Restore classes, and other approved destinations.
  • Obtain leadership approval before transportation outside the Metro/Davidson County area or for any destination outside normal approved transportation practices.
  • Document all transportation, tasks completed, participant updates, and relevant concerns in Apricot according to NAHT documentation expectations.
  • Document mileage accurately and consistently.
  • Communicate schedule changes, transportation barriers, participant concerns, or safety issues to Lead Rescue Coordinator and/or appropriate NAHT leadership promptly.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and follow NAHT safety, confidentiality, and transportation policies at all times.
  • Train directly under Amber Eells in Rescue administrative processes and daily Rescue workflow.
  • Assist with entering screenings, assessments, participant updates, placement information, and other Rescue documentation into Apricot as assigned and trained.
  • Learn and support accurate documentation of participant needs, placement moves, and major updates throughout a participant’s Rescue journey.
  • Assist with communication and coordination related to participant needs, appointments, placements, and transportation logistics.
  • Help maintain organized Rescue records and follow NAHT documentation, confidentiality, and escalation procedures.
  • Assist with updating Letters of Hope or other Rescue communication materials when placement information changes, as assigned.
  • Prepare supplies from the Rescue Closet for women being served through Rescue.
  • Notify Rescue leadership when Rescue Closet supplies are low and assist with keeping the Rescue Closet clean, organized, and ready for participant needs.
3. Supply, and Program Support
  • Assist with maintaining participant supplies, snacks, drinks, and other approved program supplies as needed.
  • Support special Rescue-related projects, participant needs, and program activities as assigned.
  • Attend required staff meetings, trainings, supervision meetings, and departmental meetings.
Training & Professional Development
  • Receive ongoing training from Lead Rescue Coordinator in Rescue procedures, transportation coordination, participant communication, Apricot documentation, placement workflow, and escalation practices.
  • Participate in LADAC supervision when appropriate as part of professional development and credentialing growth.
  • Demonstrate increasing independence and competency in assigned Rescue administrative duties as training progresses.
  • Accept coaching, correction, and direction from Rescue leadership and other designated NAHT supervisors.
  • Maintain all professional, ethical, confidentiality, and boundary expectations required by NAHT and any applicable credentialing or supervision standards.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work compassionately and professionally with survivors and team members.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Energetic, positive, dependable, teachable, and empathetic.
  • Committed to serving others and supporting NAHT's Christ-centered mission and core values.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and willingness to learn Apricot and other NAHT systems.
  • Sober/clean from alcohol and drugs for a minimum of 18 months.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation, proof of insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record for the previous 12 months.
  • Ability to safely transport participants and respond appropriately to changes in schedule, participant needs, or urgent program situations.
  • Willingness to complete required trainings and participate in supervision and professional development.
Core Expectations
  • Treat every participant with dignity, respect, compassion, and consistency.
  • Follow the chain of command and promptly elevate participant safety, ethical, boundary, or service concerns.
  • Document accurately and in a timely manner.
