Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is hiring a Transportation Coordinator in the Transportation Department. The role administers transportation operations, including dispatching, DOT compliance, preventive maintenance scheduling, and routine administrative duties.

You will coordinate with managers to meet partner expectations, control costs, and maintain vehicle appearance. The position supports our commitment to diversity and inclusion and reports to the Dispatch Supervisor.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience and/or training.

Aufgaben

• Disptaching and coordinating transportation operations.
• Ensure DOT compliance and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Handle routine administrative duties and driver communications.
• Coordinate with Dispatch Supervisor and Transportation Director to optimize load capacity and reduce empty miles.
• Maintain food safety compliance and paperwork.
