Heniff Family of Companies is seeking a Transportation Coordinator in the Charleston, SC area. The role focuses on optimizing transportation and supplier networks to ensure safe, on-time deliveries while complying with DOT, safety, and regulatory policies.

You will coordinate with drivers, terminals, and customers, entering orders and generating travel orders, and ensuring optimal use of resources. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong administrative skills.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and data entry capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Optimizes transportation and supplier network to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Coordinates with drivers, terminals, and customers to allocate resources.
• Enters orders and generates Travel Orders for drivers.
• Communicates with Logistics Ops and other locations to meet requirements.
• Monitors hours of service, equipment status, and safety compliance.
• Dispatches drivers for shipments and maintains routes and timelines.
