ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

As our Transportation Coordinator - Dispatcher, you dispatch and support our drivers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Using our online program, you direct drivers throughout the day while maintaining clear communication. When a load comes in, you conduct scale operations to identify its contents and its weight. Then, you direct the customer to where they unload their shipment. Processing paperwork, assisting scale clerks, and coordinating with office personnel are also part of your responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of dispatching experience
• Knowledge about logistics and the scrap metal recycling industry
• Clear understanding of all company policy, FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
• Basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office 365, and an ability to learn in-house systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time and move a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
