A day in the life as a Transportation Coordinator
- Support execution of store and home delivery center deliveries, ensuring accurate shipping plans and schedules, including transportation optimization, return logistics, and peak season strategies.
- Consistently deliver operational performance against established KPIs and budget, perform root-cause analysis, and create action plans to manage performance.
- Execute against Peak Season plans/strategies to support the business needs.
- Support Transportation Manager in yard staffing, scheduling, and inbound/outbound transportation responsibilities.
- Interact with Field Leadership, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and transportation providers to ensure overall execution of service standards.
- Plan and communicate truck capacity requirements, ensuring adequate truck and trailer supply.
- Ensure steady inbound and outbound movement, timely merchandise delivery, and optimal carrier utilization.
- Provide guidance and training to peer Transportation Coordinators when applicable.
- Audit Yard Management System for carrier/trailer accuracy.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Transportation Management Systems to design, test, and implement efficiencies.
- Maintain CBH Transportation and Logistics master data.
- Support outbound transportation projects and initiatives.
- Create and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Transportation activities.
- Perform other duties as required, including managing miscellaneous outbound shipments like RTVs, misroutes, FedEx, etc.

- Operational acumen and understanding of freight movement (LTL, FTL, parcel, intermodal).
- Knowledge of freight pricing, detention, drayage, and costs.
- Ability to learn and assist in other transportation areas.

Minimum Starting Rate: $20.19/hourly
Up to: $25.24/hourly
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable law. In addition to salary, associates may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and long-term incentives.
