Qualifications

• No physical impairment preventing safe driving.
• Read, write, and converse in English.
• Use a GPS/technology system and understand road maps.
• Lift/pull up to 50 pounds and assist passengers.
• Climb in and out of the vehicle.
• Bend and reach to secure wheelchairs/stretchers.
• Sit for long periods depending on duration.

The Transportation Coordinator will set up and manage appointments, schedule transportation for residents to appointments, transport residents while maintaining strict client confidentiality, and perform related duties as directed.

Requirements

• Valid State Driver's License
• Pass a Chauffeur's license test and a background check

• No physical impairment preventing safe driving or performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
• Read, write, and converse in English
• Use a GPS/technology system and read and understand road maps
• Lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds and assist passengers into and out of the vehicle, including moving a loaded wheelchair up and down a ramp or lift
• Climb in and out of the vehicle
• Bend and reach to properly secure wheelchairs or stretchers inside the vehicle
• Sit for long periods depending on duration of transportation
