Job summary

Performance Food Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Coordinator, Transportation to ensure drivers and routes run on time and safely. You will support the transportation team with tracking, data entry, and customer and vendor communication, plus administrative tasks.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months in transportation, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Training provided; Monday–Friday schedule 10:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months in a transportation environment.
• Administrative support with basic math and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Tracks, coordinates driver and route information; performs driver check-in.
• Answers and coordinates incoming transportation related calls.
• Maintains and tracks all DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, and mileage).
• Tracks, inputs, and processes driver payroll data; performs related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00AM - 7:00PM

As a Coordinator, Transportation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers is equipped with the information needed to deliver all products on time and safely. The Coordinator, Transportation supports the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information along with performing administrative tasks. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

6+ months in a transportation environment
