Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. is seeking a logistics/coordination professional to support daily delivery operations at our Goldsboro Fresh Division. You will liaise with truckers, customers, and sales staff to resolve delivery issues and ensure timely invoicing and payments.

The role involves booking carriers, pallet management, and coordinating freezer shipments. The position requires strong multitasking, a detail-oriented mindset, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with truckers daily to verify delivery and notify customers and sales staff of issues.
• Verify invoices/match bills from carriers and forward to Troutman for payment.
• Book carriers for all trucks and manage FOB pallet pickup.
• Make appointments for deliveries and manage pallet inventory for Sysco FOB carrier.
• Check logs at the guard shack for truck departures and pallet reports.
• Coordinate freezer appointments when loads are scheduled to ship.
• Participate in daily production meetings with production coordinator and shipping.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position will require the following job functions:

• Follow up with truckers daily to verify delivery; notify customers and sales staff of any delivery issues.
• Verify invoices/match up bills from carriers then forward to Troutman for payment.
• Book carriers for all trucks.
• Manage/schedule pickup for all FOB trucks.
• Make appointments for all deliveries.
• Manage pallet inventory for Sysco fob carrier.
• Check logs at guard shack for truck departures & pallet reports.
• Make freezer appointments when loads are scheduled to ship.
• Participate in daily production meetings with production coordinator and shipping (morning & afternoon).
• Exhibit the highest possible level of customer service to all customers, visitors and prospects.
