Job summary

McLane is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage daily administrative functions in the Transportation department. You will ensure drivers are informed of route changes and provide updated information to customers as needed.

This role offers a night shift schedule and opportunities to contribute to a nationwide distribution network. Responsibilities include preparing delivery paperwork, route verification, DOT file maintenance, payroll processing, and driver check-ins.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar transportation role preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at work level and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delivery paperwork for drivers.
• Confirm driver on routes and verify paperwork.
• Pull and put away keys and perform DOT file maintenance.
• Process payroll.
• Check in driver and communicate route changes.
• Handle special projects as assigned by supervisor.

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the daily administrative functions in the Transportation department. They ensure that drivers are aware of any changes that may or will occur and provide route change information to customers as needed.

Benefits you can count on:

• Pay Range:$20.00 - 23.65/hour based on experience

• Schedule:7:00 PM – 5:30 AM - Four ten-hour shifts

• Workdays: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and SaturdayDays Off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

What you’ll do as a Transportation Coordinator:

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Transportation Coordinator Teammate:
