McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Transportation Coordinator to manage daily administrative tasks for the Transportation department.

You will ensure drivers are informed of changes, provide route updates to customers, and support payroll and DOT compliance in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role offers an overnight shift (3rd), full-time schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package that starts after a probationary period.

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferred.

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the daily administrative functions in the Transportation department. They ensure that drivers are aware of any changes that may or will occur and provide route change information to customers as needed.

• Pay Range: $20.00 - 23.65/hour based on experience
• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM - Four ten-hour shifts
• Workdays: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Days Off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Qualifications You'll Bring As a Transportation Coordinator Teammate

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar function is preferred.
• Have good computer skills, including Microsoft products.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
