Job summary

Mead & Hunt seeks a Transportation Construction Project Leader in Wisconsin to lead and deliver transportation construction projects. You will work with engineers, inspect sites, coordinate with contractors, and serve as the on-site representative to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will mentor teams, manage documentation, and engage with WisDOT and local governments to deliver community-focused projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with two years of relevant experience.
• If no degree, at least four years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver transportation construction projects through Wisconsin offices.
• Conduct on-site construction observation, materials testing, and documentation.
• Serve as on-site representative, coordinating with contractors and project teams.
• Assist with CAD-based design work and plan production.
• Mentor teams, plan workloads, and support professional development.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders including WisDOT and local governments.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders and pay estimates; assist with contract docs.
