Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Coordinator in Columbia, MD to support the Construction Management Team on City of Baltimore DOT projects. You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and agencies to ensure ADA-compliant infrastructure and on-time project progress.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1–3 years in construction management/inspection, and a proven ability to work with diverse teams while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–3 years in construction management/inspection of ADA infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling and materials.
• Knowledge of inspection methods.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, architects and agency representatives.
• Supervisory ability.
• Familiarity with safety, environment guidelines and regulations.
• Proficient in math and English; detail-oriented with records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with staff, consultants, contractors and agencies to advance highway/bridge/pedestrian projects meeting ADA standards.
• Coordinate field inspections for projects, assign and review work, train staff, and provide guidance.
• Review schedules and adjust as needed to address construction issues.
• Schedule pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve construction problems.
• Use computer software to prepare project correspondence, manage workflow, and maintain records.
• Maintain detailed project records and work with team effectively.
