Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (Montgomery County, PA)

CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for projects around the Montgomery County, PA area, PennDOT District 6, for the upcoming 2025 Construction season. Immediate consideration for qualified candidates.

Relocation or sponsorship is not available. Local candidates are highly desirable.

The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) is responsible for consulting with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and safety practices involved in construction. The TCIS prepares daily reports, maintains progress schedules, checks shop drawings, and supervises inspectors if applicable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plans
• Verify materials and contractor layout accuracy
• Prepare daily work reports and progress claims
• Communicate effectively and follow instructions
• Utilize office equipment and computers
• Perform physical activities such as bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions

OTHER DUTIES:

• Travel as required
• Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education; ability to read, write, communicate in English, and perform basic math
• Preferred certifications include BS Civil Engineering, NICET Level 2+, NECEPT Bituminous, ACI/PennDOT Concrete, PennDOT/PTC CDS, ECMS experience, OSHA 10-Hour
